01
RANKING
The leaderboard is ordered by each participant's cumulative verified contribution, expressed in USD. Multiple verified contributions from the same account are aggregated. The three highest cumulative totals occupy positions #01, #02 and #03. Everyone else appears in descending order.
A contribution of any permitted amount counts toward your total, even if it does not immediately change your position. The leaderboard is recomputed from the database after every verified event. Cached presentation data is never used to decide whether a payment qualifies for a position.
02
VERIFICATION
Only contributions verified by the payment provider on the server can update the leaderboard. Pending, failed, cancelled and unverified payments never count. Amounts submitted by a browser are never trusted: the server creates the payment request using the amount it has validated and stored.
Provider webhooks are authenticated using the provider's signature, checked against a short timestamp tolerance, and processed idempotently. Duplicate provider events cannot create duplicate financial records or double-count a contribution.
03
REFUNDS & CHARGEBACKS
Refunds and chargebacks are reflected in the ranking. A full refund removes the refunded amount from the participant's total. A partial refund reduces the total by the refunded amount. A chargeback removes the disputed contribution from the total while the dispute is open; if the dispute is resolved in the participant's favour, the amount is restored.
Administrative refunds are recorded in an immutable audit log with the administrator's identity, the contribution reference and the documented reason. No administrator can silently edit a contribution total.
04
TIE-BREAKING
If two participants have the same verified cumulative total, the ranking is deterministic:
- The higher cumulative verified contribution wins.
- If equal, the participant who reached that total earlier wins.
- If still equal, the older account wins.
Because the earlier timestamp wins a tie, surpassing another participant requires a strictly higher total. The calculator accounts for this by showing the amount required to exceed the current total, not merely match it.
05
NO GUARANTEE OF POSITION
PIKKO never promises that a contribution guarantees a particular position. A contribution changes your cumulative total. Another participant can surpass you at any time. The platform does not hold a position for a participant, and no contribution is an investment, deposit, security or financial instrument.
Positions are public and temporary. Historical tenures are preserved even after a participant leaves the podium.
06
PAYMENTS, LIMITS & CURRENCY
USD is the ranking currency. The platform validates every amount server-side against a published minimum and maximum per contribution. Payment providers impose their own limits, country restrictions, fees and high-value transaction policies; those limits may be lower than the platform's theoretical maximum and must be verified with the chosen provider before accepting real payments.
If additional currencies are supported, conversion must use a documented exchange rate and timestamp. The normalized USD amount, not the display currency amount, determines the ranking. The current implementation only accepts USD.
Double submissions are prevented with idempotency keys and unique provider transaction references. Pending authorizations expire and never affect the leaderboard.
07
LEGAL & COMPLIANCE REVIEW
Before accepting real payments internationally, PIKKO requires an appropriate legal and compliance review covering, at minimum: consumer protection, payment services regulation, anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer obligations, sanctions screening, tax treatment, prize or competition rules, data protection and high-value transaction policy.
The platform must not be used to launder money, evade sanctions, finance prohibited activity or misrepresent the nature of a payment. Participation may be restricted or terminated where required by law or provider policy. This page is an operational summary, not legal advice.
08
PRIVACY & PUBLICITY
Public profile fields are: display name, profile image, country and an optional short description. These are published only with the participant's explicit consent and can be changed at any time. Disabling public visibility removes the participant from the public leaderboard and closes any open tenure.
Email addresses, payment references, internal transaction identifiers and verification information are private. They are never published, never included in public API responses and never placed in frontend bundles together with secrets.
09
ADMINISTRATION & AUDIT
The administration panel is protected by server-side authorization. Every administrative action affecting financial or ranking data is recorded in an audit log containing the administrator, action, entity, timestamp and details. Contribution totals are derived from verified records; administrators cannot silently overwrite them.
In live mode, chargebacks are applied from verified provider webhooks. Demo-mode manual chargeback simulation is clearly marked and must never be enabled in production.
